Solo Art Exhibition

Eight more days until my art solo art exhibition at the John Pence Gallery.  The excitement is building with each day.

"Carla" in progress

This is a new portrait in progress.  It's a small painting measuring only 8 x 6 inches.  I just started painting in the background today, and I hope I find time tomorrow to work on it.  Unfortunately, this painting will not be going to my exhibition at the John Pence Gallery due to time.  In the future, I hope it will grace the walls of the gallery.

"Sound Man" along with two other paintings are being shipped off tomorrow to the John Pence Gallery.  I'm looking forward to seeing them all on display for my solo exhibition next month.  It has been a wonderful journey preparing for my show, and I hope to have many more at this prestigious gallery.

Day 4

I spent a good four hours on this painting tonight.  Looking forward to five hours tomorrow working on it.  I hope is to have it done by the September 20th.  Now that I'm teaching again, my hours are now down to three to four hours during the week and ten hours on the weekend.

In Progress

Traveling with my wife to the teacher store a few weeks ago, I came across the little guy.  I had to take him home to paint him, but my daughter called dibs on him when the painting is complete. She is currently counting down the days for me to get it done.
