Fresh on the easel

This is a detail shot of one of my new paintings.  My hope is to have the work completed by the end of March. I will post my progress in the next two weeks.  It's always exciting to get a new idea for a painting, but at the same time frustrating in making it work.

My Mentors

What a great picture of my two mentors, Greg Gohn and Will Wilson, having a conversation at my art exhibition.  I wish I could have heard what they were talking about.

Russell Harris Solo Exhibition: John Pence Gallery 2014

This was an amazing night for me.  I appreciate every one that came out in making my first solo exhibition a major success.  This event was a milestone in my artistic career.  If you are ever in the Bay Area, please feel free to stop by the John Pence Gallery.
