Well, it was Easter 2015 and I was really missing my mom. After dinner, I decided to do a small painting of her alla prima style. It was a great way for me to express how I was feeling in the moment. I miss you mom.
This is a detail shot of one of my new paintings. My hope is to have the work completed by the end of March. I will post my progress in the next two weeks. It's always exciting to get a new idea for a painting, but at the same time frustrating in making it work.
